A tiny probe is inserted into each hair follicle, where a small amount of energy permanently destroys the follicle’s ability to produce new hair. Electrolysis is safe for all skin tones and hair colors, making it an effective solution for unwanted facial and body hair.

Most patients describe electrolysis as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. Sensitivity varies depending on the treatment area and individual pain tolerance. Treatments are generally well tolerated, and discomfort typically becomes easier to manage as sessions progress.

Treatment time depends on the size of being treated and the amount of hair present. Sessions can be as short as 15 minutes for small areas or up to an hour for larger areas. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are needed to achieve permanent hair removal.

Botox and Dysport injections typically begin to take effect within a few days, with full results visible around two weeks. Results generally last 3-4 months, though this can vary from person to person.
